From being able to change the backpack storage size, keeping the backpack on death, and much more!ÄȘll menus and models in this mod have been designed to keep the vanilla look and feel, perfect for players who don't want to break the vanilla experience. Don't worry, this can be customised or disabled completely with the plentiful amount of configuration options. You must be directly behind a player and in arms reach to access their backpack. Players can share items from their backpack with introduction of pickpocketing mechanics. Completing challenges contributes to the customisation of backpacks a new system that allows players to personalise their backpack with different models. Besides what you would expect to be added into the mod, Backpacked provides fun gameplay experiences with advancements like challenges. Important: Backpacked requires Framework (Fabric) to be installed.Ä«ackpacked is not just another backpack mod. You may need to restart Minecraft for the changes to take effect.This is the Fabric version of Backpacked, a Forge version is also available! Open up Minecraft with Forge, and Optifine will be installed and working. Place the new file we just extracted from the installer before, into the mods folder. The actual directory is: C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\mods This can be found by opening the start menu and typing %AppData% and hitting enter. Now, navigate to your Minecraft folder, and then the mods folder. In the window that pops up, choose a location to save the new file in, Desktop will do. Youâll receive another JAR file, this time for Optifine. If youâre using a newer version of Minecraft such as 1.15 or 1.16, you will need to click the âPreview Versionsâ link found at the top of the page. Itâs important that your Optifine version is the same as the Forge version (1.12.2 in my case).ÄŹhoose a Download link, ideally one thatâs in bold. Head to the Optifine website, and find your version of Minecraft. 
Now that we have Forge installed, itâs time to install Optifine.
